PHOTOGRAPHY STYLES | CHOOSE YOUR FAVOURITE
Natural
Non-intrusive, fly-on-the-wall, documentary photography. We give very little direction and just capture the raw moments as they occur. It is a style for people who prefer to just go with the flow;
Creative
Using all our photography tools and techniques, including flash lighting. This is the style most likely to win awards and is your photographer’s personal favourite. Got an idea you'd like to try for something really cool? Or want to really test your photographer’s creative talent? Then this is for you. This style get's the most creative results and often can be best with a longer session duration;
Emotional
Hold on to each other like it's the last moment you’ll ever have. The camera comes in close as we capture the raw emotion of who you are. We laugh together, we cry together. Most importantly, we remember just how precious life is as we immortalise the beautiful moment in photos. This is a style for people with strong emotions;
Small Soul Big World
Drone photos where there is no lighting and no direction. We just step back, capture the wide shot and place you in the image. There's a strong focus on adventure and we visit numerous spectacular locations. This is a style for those who love nature and would rather prioritise the landscape over their own expression;
Nature Scenes
We travel to natural wonders and place you in the scene. Involves a mix of both the Creative and Natural styles with the priority on nature;

BEFORE THE PHOTOSHOOT | WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
PREFERENCES
Usually within six weeks of your Fjord Photoshoot we will confirm addresses, contact numbers, arrival times, locations, likes, dislikes and any other matters that require discussion. We don’t want to leave anything to chance, so please don’t assume anything. If you would like something, simply ask for it.
OUTFITS
You should plan outfits you will use and any additions that need to be book such as hair and make-up. Look through our photography styles and choose the style you want. Be sure to let us know before your session begins. Also consider the weather, terrain and any hiking that is required. Sometimes it is best to dress for hiking and have your photoshoot wardrobe in a backpack and change on location.
WHAT TO BRING
It is always advisable to bring snacks and drinks, and we do offer a local snack package with warm and cold drinks to add to your photoshoot adventure if you prefer to be pampered.
SAFETY
Safety is always the most important aspect during all our photoshoots. We are exposed in nature and there are things that can go wrong. We want to limit any natural dangers by being careful, staying away from edges and planning well. Please wear appropriate clothing and footwear and be respectful to nature at all times.
